A couple days ago, The Coalition, the new crew creating the games that are in the Gears of War franchise, released the fourth installment of the Fenix journey.

To delve a bit into the Campaign, it was good, if I had to say what it was in one word. It wasn’t spectacular, though, not like Gears of War 2 which was the best game in the franchise.

The campaign took a little too long to get to the good stuff and for it to actually feel like a Gears of War game. Around half of the campaign could have been taken out and it  wouldn’t matter so much. Nothing in those times were ever really explained. You’re forced into a world you want to like, but can’t really appreciate because a certain enemy won’t stop coming at you. That’s the biggest gripe about the Campaign for me.

As for the multiplayer, that’s a whole ‘nother ball game, and I’ll be talking about that next week. Look out for it!
