If you have not gotten a chance to play Overwatch, then get ready for the Overwatch free weekend that starts this weekend from September 9-12. The game will be available to play on the PS4 (PlayStation Plus is not required to play) and Xbox One (Xbox Live Gold membership is required to play). Overwatch is a team-based first-person shooter that was released on May 24,2016.

In Overwatch teams of 6 players compete for team-based objectives, like escorting a payload to a destination or control points on the map. Overwatch started off with 21 heroes and 12 maps, but recently one hero (Ana) and a new map (Eichenwalde) were introduced to the game. Blizzard Entertainment the developers of Overwatch have said that any new heroes or maps that get introduced to the game will be free and will not require players to buy them.

Over the free weekend, players will get to play all 22 heroes and 13 maps. Players will also get to play all of the modes, including the quick play, player vs. AI, custom games, and weekly brawl. However, players will not get to play the competitive mode that is in the full game.  I have played 57 hours of Overwatch and I enjoyed every bit of it.

I have already purchased the game, but for the people who have not purchased it; I highly recommend that you try it out for free this weekend. I have played 57 hours of Overwatch and I enjoyed every bit of it. I hope you have great experience and enjoy the game like I do.
